And yet again you manage to make my Adam's apple quake in sympathy. It is rich with images for such a succinct poem. It seems to speak of expected happiness unresolved, and the resigned attitude of one who prepares to weather the pain in a cycle that never quite seems to see the emergent pleasures of spring evolve into the fruitful joys of summer. I adored the incongruous use of positivity to highlight the gentle melancholy of the seasons; "Every vibrant sky, Every burst of colour, a fall". The play on words there was artful and subtle. I truly hope this is a work of creative whimsy, or that I have misinterpreted it's theme, for I would sincerely wish the author could indeed be able to bask in the reassuring comfort of summer.
I wholly agree with @Tinywhisper11, it is indeed a great poem. And the delightful image you have accompanied it with is the icing on the cake.
