Wilted Flower

Wilted Flower

My roses are red,

And your violets are black,

Death stole the time,

We can never get back,

A beautiful soul you were,

I wish you were still here,

Ill cry until my eyes are red,

And your violets grow from my tears.

Roses are red,

And tears flow from eyes,

I miss you every day,

And I hate how time flies,

You were perfect in every way,

So many things you didn’t do,

Things I wish I could’ve seen,

Your absence hurts my soul,

I wish this was just a dream

My tears fell like rain,

My pain became a storm,

On the boat our memories remain,

Now I reminisce like it’s the norm.

I look towards the moon,

And ask the might lord why,

If life was a drought,

Then you were the flower that died.

Every night I sit and think,

About the words I should’ve said

They plague me in my darkest hour

I wish I wasn’t scared

And I wish I didn’t cower

If my roses are red,

You are my wilted flower

Wow, that was very dark and maybe bittersweet because the person in the poem still has their memories of a true love ❤️

Thanks for sharing 🌟
