gamble
Pick from my stack facade cards
Held far away from your ideal reach
Taunting ever so slightly, daring you
Guess, pretend, think you know
The secrets that lie beneath the show.
Each card a mask, a painted smile
You can't see what’s worth the while
The edges fray, the truth obscured
In silence, the real thoughts are endured.
A shuffle, a twist, the game moves on
Like shadows at dusk, they're never gone
You’ll guess again, try to divine
The hidden truths behind the design.
The stakes are high, yet so well masked
A question lingers, you’ll never ask
And while you ponder, I’ll still remain
The keeper of my facade of cards—hidden, untamed

I really liked your extended metaphor of the façade cards. The notion that one plays with a range of faces, all superficial, which inhibit any chance of seeing any deeper motivations and qualities. The whole notion of bluffing the outside world, even to the point of assuming superiority, and yet wanting them to call your bluff and 'see you', is a very relatable topic. And you present it with panache.
I think it is a very good poem.
