merely a dream

she’s  waited on a miracle everyday but refused to believe in magic 

And no man ever guessed it, but really, most of her was tragic.

She’s not one to pack up and run free, she’s not one to fight until she belongs

But who’s to say she won't go insane if kept with herself for too long

She’s not one to love pink but she won't exactly hate it

She’ll remain a theme song, but never the popular hit

She’s the epitome of independence and a woman self made, 

But sometimes I see it, the life she’s covertly manifested and for prayed
