I still struggle with anxiety but I struggled with it the most during my high school years. Especially during public speaking. My voice would shake, I would stutter, my throat and mouth would get dry and my voice would get “quiet” What I mean by quiet is that my voice usually goes really high pitched when I get nervous or (excited for that part) I remember my then teacher told me: “Have you considered going to speech therapy since your voice is to high-pitched” That comment really made my anxiety worse every time I had to take his class. The way I coped with it was to drink water beforehand, look at peoples foreheads and only look at my closest friends and I never, not even once, looked at that teacher again.
