What are the typical symptoms for inattention?

3.What are the typical symptoms of hyperactivity/impulsivity?

"They should give extra time, for testing, homework, a quiet place if needed or even a co-teacher for extra help"

"Find tutors and counselors who are knowledgeable n supportive"
"Also it should be written into their school care plan for all these things to be incoporated into their school day"

11.So do you believe that people outgrow ADHD?

12.How can ADHD symptoms change when you get older?
"if you have a disorder, its usually paired with something else. Example: depression and anxiety are usually found together"
"What about perhaps being more anxious about remembering things"
"more forgetful"
13.So do you think there's anything a parent can do for their child that has ADHD?
"Support and talk and show true compassion"
"The parent can learn more about the symptoms and what their child is going through"
"Make it more interesting to let the kids pick up learning and concentrate"
"they can do fun activities like all the times example Swimming , play outside"
"Some things the parents can do to help the child: Provide written lists when many things need to be done; work on organization skills; remind of things"
"Contact the school. Get iep testing. Stay in touch w therapist and iep counselor. Do monthly meetings if not more frequently . Stay on top of homework. Participate."
14.What can people in a workplace can do to help their colleague with ADD/ADHD?
"keep them focused"
"honestly the number one thing they can do is dont judge"
