1. How often do you use self help guides, be it off or on 7cups? I have read through all of them before and use them often as resources to share with others. They are well written and beneficial!
2. What do you think is most important to include in self help guides? Good question. I'd say relevant information and links to other resources for more help.
3. What do you find most helpful about self help guides? They are very well designed and written. they are also like a mini crash course on the subject as well. I also like that they helpful tips on how to work through it.
4. What advice would you give to someone writing a self help guide? From what I've seen so far I'd say keep up the great work! But if they were new to it, I'd say for them to browse our current selection, provide appropriate information and resources, and as always, do the research! :)
5. Do you think self help guides work better for certain topics than they do for others? not really no. They seem to have a well rounded variety and are very helpful, each and every one. Some subjects may require the reader to do further research or seek professional treatment afterwards, but they are a great place to start.
6. Are there any instances where self help guides won't help? could you give an example? hmmmm this is a tough question. I guess they wouldn't help if they were inaccurate or if the reader didn't actually want help.
7. Any other thoughts to add about self help guides? :) Nope! I love what has been done so far and look forward to reading the new ones too!! :)
1. How often do you use self help guides, be it off or on 7cups?
All the time! Self-help guides are great! I use them to help me on various things.
2. What do you think is most important to include in self help guides?
The information and methods must be clear and on point, otherwise it'll be hard to understand.
3. What do you find most helpful about self help guides?
It contains most of the information and help that I need.
4. What advice would you give to someone writing a self help guide?
Make sure you write everything down clearly and straight to the point. Make sure the information written is relevant to the title or don't make the title misleading. Make sure you know what you're writing about and make sure you write facts rather than bluffs.
5. Do you think self help guides work better for certain topics than they do for others?
Yes, I do think so. Others need to be explained broadly and shown to you for you to understand.
6. Are there any instances where self help guides won't help? could you give an example?
Yes, if the words they use are kind of out of my reach. Or if it's not informative at all. Or if the title is misleading.
7. Any other thoughts to add about self help guides? :)
Self-help guides are made for us to understand and not put our mind into knots because of information overload. Make sure to break down the topics to be discussed otherwise it'll be a mess.
