April Cohort Events

Heya social soldiers and future soldiers!

We will have been using this post as a way to find awareness days and conduct our events around it. For the social soldiers, April brings us a new cohort and with it a lot of different awareness days and event! This post will be updated as the month goes along so be sure to check it out during the month to get involved with the events!

Our continuous event this month is the Bingo!
You will get a copy of the bingo once you join the team, It combines different awareness days and reach-out tasks for you to complete. We are using this as a way to track work, everyone's goal is to get two rows of Bingo! Remember every row is 100 cheers, and completing your goal for one-month grants you the social soldiers' badge and for three months the social butterfly badge! (We are going to be adding another part to this! so keep a look out for that)

This month has a little twist to it, we are having an easter egg hunt!! some of the tasks will say 'find X easter egg' to do this you have to check out the awareness days and keep an eye out for tweets and posts (on Tumblr) made by @Erator @Yendi and I. There you'll find a task relating to the awareness day, once you've completed it you shall get your egg! Each egg is worth 100 cheers, finding all the eggs gets you 1,000 cheers.

April 14th is Game Of Thrones Day, there is a dragon's egg to be found on this day!

April 11th is National Pets Day,
~ Post a picture of your pet (or a pet you want) with #7cups #nationalpetday
~ There is a bird egg to be found on this day!

April 10th - 16th is the week of events for Stress Awareness Month
~ Post one type of stress and a method of stress relieving with #7cups #stressawarenessmonth
~ There are eggs to be found during this week!

April 21st - 27th is the week of events for Alcohol Awareness Month. There are eggs to be found during this week!

April 27th is Tell A Story Day
~ Share a story about your time on 7cups #TellaStory #7cups
~ There is a storytelling egg to be found on this day!

Sitewide Events;
April ~ Tumblr writers club has a theme based around bravery (everyone who enters earns the bravery egg)

April 26th is our monthly Twitter Takeover/Twitter chat! The theme and post will be linked (for everyone who attends they earn the takeover egg!)
