Heya everyone! Once again weve reached the middle of the week, so its time for a gentle reminder to go as smoothly as possible through the rest of the week <3
Too often we feel pressured to get so many things accomplished. We often compare with other people who got this done more quickly than us, who learnt this more easily than us, who recovered in less time than us, who got further than us... which can really be frustrating and overwhelm us. Its not easy of course but we have to remember that its okay to take your time, for just everything. Take your time, go with your own pace, the others paces dont matter, its your journey, not theirs. So take all the time you need!

Thanks for the post, I kinda needed that. Been trying to get too much stuff done at the same time at work and it's exhausting ...
1) How are you feeling? Tired !
2) How is your week going so far? Busy busy busy ... Maybe too busy !
3) What can you do to go through the rest of the week better? Honestly I don't really know ... I would say try to get some rest but I'm not quite sure if I'll manage to.

English humour and French food, that sounds like a nice combo! I honestly didnt value French food much, until I went on a gap year in Germany, and gosh let me tell you, French food got so extremely valuable! Any favourite dish? And best joke?

Oh yeah I didn't quite get it either with french food. When we moved to France I was 8 so you know, you don't really notice the difference at that age, but my dad would always go on about how the food was great and all that . When we went back to visit family 8 years later, I totally understood !!
I don't really have a favorite dish, it just depends on my mood I guess !
As for jokes, I don't really tell jokes. I have more of a sarcastic, dark humor. Not everyone likes it though !

Honestly, what I miss most about England as far as food is the amazing Indian Restaurants... It seems somehow unpatriotic. My granny used to make coronation chicken - that is English, I suppose. And we do great pub food. But steak and kidney pie and jam roly-poly and all the rest - I could give a miss. We have custard. But the French have that better, I think. Yorkshire pudding with a Sunday roast is still a fine thing though!

The thing about the french is that they're really good at food but they can't make traditional english dishes very well. They do a french version of fish and chips and stuff like that but it's just not the same x) As weird as english food is, I can't find it over here x)

Would it be too much to ask where in France? I think of the touristy areas as being Paris, Calais, Bordeaux, Chartres, maybe Carcassonne, Versailles.

Not at all ! I grew up in a small region, more to the center of the country, called Corrèze. It's not well known because there isn't much there but people come to enjoy some time away from the 'big' cities.
