1000 Friends Art Event - Express Yourself!
Heyo every-amazing-one! ^-^
Can you believe our little family, this sub-community, is already at 1000 subcommunity friends? Thats right! I mean, me neither, but it is time to celebrate! :)
You may wonder what this whole Express Yourself! event thing is. Well, it is *drumroll* an Art Event! :)
Thats right! Art is just such an amazing way to help us deal with so many different and otherwise hard things and we have so many amazing friends here now so we have been thinking of combining the two and let you show us some of your amazing art! :)
How are you feeling? What does this place mean to you? What does "recovery" mean to you? What do you think about the 1000 friends, on a similar journey to you? All that, and anything else is on your mind you would like to draw or write out, we would be happy to see here! :)
For this occasion, we will be collecting written and visual art.
Visual art can be any drawing or moving image such as gifs you would like to share with us. You can submit these using any anonymous image-sharing sites such as > imgur.com <
For written art now we are open for poems and short stories - stories under 2000 words.
For this you can use > this form < to submit your art to us with or without your username!
If you do have something else you would like to submit, please contact either me or @JaydenIsHere. We are always open to new ideas! :)
Of course, all of our general rules apply here as well. Please do not use any inappropriate language or share triggering details or if you do, please state it at the appropriate sections of the form. I mean, this is why we do have this form in place, as otherwise, we would have no way to moderate your submissions, but this way we can make sure that this thread will stay as clean as possible with the right trigger warnings in place at all times as we do not want anyone to get triggered.
As for the deadline: there is no such a thing. We will go through the submissions every once in a while and I will post them in this thread!

This week I colorized my Welcome greeting that I save for newcomers.
A 7 Cups of Tea art collaboration.
@ohanasystem drew the turtle in pencil. I asked if it was okay to redo it in Photoshop with color.
Chelonioidea is the scientific name for the sea turtule genis.

Isn't it beautiful how so few words can even say so much and tell such long stories?

I mean, I do not know you, but I know that you have to be really strong if you have already got this far and I know it may not feel like that but you can do it and you can get better, you can get there when you are not broken anymore. I mean, I am a pretty naive kind of optimist tho but I do really believe in it and I do believe in you

@redmark this is wonderful! The mesaage is so sweet and the painting.. Looks great.
I like to take in game photos, then Photoshop them. I did this a few months ago.
In Rocket League one can choose the colors, decal, antenna and hat.
I made the heart red (not pink) and added the 7cups hat and decal, and changed the user interface.
@Positron2 I love it! Team 7 cups.
