If you could create a symbol for SH
I know a few already exist: butterflies, semicolon, etc
but if you had to chose your own what would it be and why?

a salamander. Because the legend behind them is that they walk on fire and survive. So basically that we go through hell and we're still here fighting. Also I think salamanders are cute :3

I've got a few :p
- A rose: different colours could symboliase the differences in everyone's self-harm, the thorns symbolise the pain and the flower symbolises love- self-love- which I personally believe is needed for us to help stop our habits. We need to believe we are worthy of more than what self-harm can give us.
- A baby beanstalk/vine: Symbolises growth and change.
- A dragon: shows the beast that is within all of us. The bravery, determination and the fiery hot strength. A dragon can withstand so much heat, and still survive. So can we.

The symbol I'd chose is the cactus
it grows in harsh desert environment. plus there spiked on the outside for me represents strength and getting thru hardships
