Movie Recommendations!
Movies can help to improve our mood and take us to another world to distract us from our feelings ^-^ Below are a list of movies to watch when you're feeling any range of emotions - feel free to add some of your own to this thread!
When you're feeling sad...
~ The Incredibles - it's a fun, upbeat kids movie that can also bring a sense of nostalgia
~ A Christmas Prince - incredibly cheesy but really cute, and it'll have you on the edge of your seat
~ Yours Mine and Ours - a really cute comedy about two families coming together
When you're feeling lonely...
~ Matilda - this one also brings back a sense of nostalgia, and also shows that no matter how alone you may be, hope can prevail
~ Harry Potter - I couldn't help but add this one! Magic, friendship, bravery, if you're like me Harry Potter can make you feel as if you have a home at Hogwarts
~ Annie - similar to Matilda, this one gives a sense of hope and shows that family doesn't have to come from blood
When you're feeling unmotivated...
~ Stick It - I think I've watched this about 10 times... every time it makes me feel motivated. It's also hands down the best gymnastics movie ever :P
~ The Imitation Game - in addition to being one of my favourite movies, I always feel inspired to work hard after watching all the hard work done in this movie :')
I'm certain I'm missing lots of moods and corresponding movies, as this is mainly focused on my own tastes and movies I've watched! I'd love to hear your input too, and I hope these movies can help you ^-^

I like watching The Perks of Being a Wallflower when I feel anxious or alone. It is really a moving and amazing movie, one of my favorites
If you want a good cry, The Book Theif if fantastic. I personally like horror the best, so anything by Blumhouse (an indie film company) is great.
