A thing that happened I guess

Uhhh so I remember the first time I started self-harming (about a period of 3 months) and my parents found out, I was newly clean and I met this girl who had SH scars up and down her arms. The led me to strike up a conversation with her, and that was the beginning of a very unhealthy friendship for a newly-clean 13 year old me.

Anyway, I remember at some point she said something really hurtful to me and I started to cry. She teased me for it at first, but then we were kinda just weird for the rest of the day. When I saw her the next day, she had new scratches on her arms. When I asked her what for, she said "oh I did that yesterday after I called your mom a b*tch."

That definitely *** me up to some degree and I totally forgot about it for a while. Anyone else have any similar experiences?

@strawberryliker123

I'm really sorry to hear that you went through such a challenging and emotionally distressing experience at a young age. It's tough to handle situations like this, especially when you're still figuring out how to navigate life. These early experiences can definitely leave a lasting impact, and it's completely normal to have strong emotions and reactions. I think it is important to reflect on how they might have affected you and consider seeking support to help process and cope with these memories and emotions.
