I keep having these bad thoughts ( if you know what I'm talking about). I feel this strong urge to do that and everything will be alright after that. Is there any way to stop being so pathetic?

@sensiblePal4594

You are definitely not pathetic.

It's not easy when we feel overwhelmed.

Or alone in something.

But it's important to find a healthier coping mechanism 🩵

Hi . I have those thoughts daily. You not pathetic. I am trying myself to manage these thoughts. But the important thing is you must keep reaching out and speaking helps .It's one reason why I joined 7cups. Speak reach out . Speaking helps ease those thoughts and remember you not alone here.

I deal with a lot of intrusive and trauma thoughts and they make it really hard not to injure. You aren't pathetic, a lot of people experience this. Just remember that things never are alright after. Self-harm only makes every problem worse. Don't let your mind and urges win, you will find your way to a real, solid recovery if you just keep trying. Never get down on yourself or beat yourself up, you can't shame your way into growth so think good thoughts about yourself!
