Feel like falling back into the habit
I've been not using Selfharm to cope for years now. Took me long to stop it and I am proud I did. But more and more and more it seems like the only solution for my problems. So I get some peace from my head even for a little bit.
@SleepyPersonForever Hello there, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and feelings with us. It takes a lot of strength to reflect on one's coping mechanisms. I'm glad to hear that you've been able to refrain from self-harm for years, which is a significant achievement. It's understandable that challenges may resurface, and it's essential to acknowledge those feelings. Have you considered reaching out to a psychologist or someone you trust to discuss these emotions further? They might provide valuable insights and support as you navigate through this. Remember, you've already shown resilience, and there are alternative strategies that can contribute to your well-being. Take care.
Thank you for your kind words. Ye I am trying to get help from a psychologist and I did get help, but now they stopped helping me for the foreseeable future. That's probably also why it is getting so bad again.
@SleepyPersonForever You are welcome! It's commendable that you've taken the step to seek help from a psychologist. I'm sorry to hear that the support has been paused, and I can understand how that might be affecting you. It's crucial to acknowledge your efforts in seeking help and recognize the challenges that can arise. If you feel comfortable, perhaps exploring alternative support options could be beneficial.
