For Boys
Dear Boys,
It’s okay to cry.
It’s okay to feel deeply.
It’s okay to not be okay.
You don’t have to be “tough” all the time.
You don’t have to hold everything in.
You don’t have to smile when your world is falling apart.
You don’t have to pretend you’re fine when you're breaking inside.
Feeling emotions doesn’t make you any less of a man.
Talking about your pain doesn’t make you weak.
Struggling doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
You’re not broken for feeling lost.
You can ask for help.
You can talk to someone.
You can take a break.
You can cry without apology.
So many boys carry silent battles—
Fathers who never said “I’m proud of you.”
Pressure to be strong for everyone.
Being told to "man up" when their hearts are shattered.
Feeling like no one would understand.
Hiding anxiety, depression, pain—because they think they have to.
Because they think no one sees them.
But I do. We do. God does.
Ending your life is not the answer.
Please stay.
This world needs you here.
Someone loves you more than you know.
Even if it doesn't feel like it right now—
You are enough.
You are worth fighting for.
You are not alone.
There’s more to your story.
There’s hope, even in the darkest night.
You are deeply loved.
You are so cared for.
Please don’t give up.
We need you here.
With love,
Someone who believes in you 💙
