How do I reduce raised/hypertrophic scars?

I have quite a few scars that I believe are hypertrophic (They are raised, but not like keloid, stay a purple/pink color even after a year and when they were healing were a lot more itchy than other scars.)

I want to make them less visible, I don't really care about the ones on my thighs, but the ones on my shoulders make swimsuits complicated and they are really raised.

I have used equate scar gel many times in the past with no affect. What's your guy's advice for making them less visable?

@SmileOfFake

Coco butter with vitamin e

or just rub on the gel inside a vitamin e capsule

@SmileOfFake gives you a giant tiny hug ❤ I do believe the purple ones, will fade a bit with time. But me I'm just trying to learn to live with them. Sorry they make you feel self concious😞 but you are beautiful no matter what! Hugs you tightly ❤❤
