How do I tell my parents?
I need some advice. I’m 13 and I sh. I need advice on how to tell my parents. I want to tell them before they find out themselves and I want to tell them soon. I keep working up the courage too but then I get too scared. I get scared that they will hate me or think I’m crazy. I’m also scared because I don’t know how they will react. If anyone has tips on how to tell my parents or any advice at all please tell me.
@Morgan772 it's never a easy thing to do, I understand why you feel scared. Why not write them a letter, put it all down on paper also expressing exactly why your scared to tell them and what outcomes your afraid off💖 I think that would be a good way for your parents to actually listen before reacting💖 gives you a giant tiny hug 💗 good luck sweetie 💗

They were sad. They were hurt. They had a lot of questions for me. I was crying a lot. I’m ok now, it feels like a big relief because I don’t have to tell them myself but I also didn’t want them to know just yet. They were really supportive tho. I thought they would be mad but the weren’t.
@Morgan772 well that's a relief💖 I think that's the best outcome you could have hoped for💖 I understand you weren't ready to tell them, but sometimes it's better to get it done and over with💖 you were extremely brave you should be very proud of yourself, I am💖 and now you don't have to hide anymore, that must be a big relief for you 💗 hugs you tightly 💗
It feel like a HUGE relief now that I don’t have to keep it a secret and it’s not bottled up anymore
