I am a stone on the inside rotten in the core, flesh torn and sore from pain
I am so so far away from home
But I kind of outgrew the whole plan
A plan?
Yes there it was
A new beginning a new start
Turns out grief follows you everywhere
Doesn't care about your name or age
It just does seep in after all
The days are easier to manage
Not many questions raised about the jackets in a hundred degree weather
The nights are usually tougher
The moonlight from my window shining right in my eyes
I want to be the moon
Not to someone else
My own little moon
Maybe the moon is my home
It's calling out to me and I feel it in my dead bones
Who knew that the loudest girl in the room wasn't really her own perfect moon
I always thought that if I left it all and became a part of the moon would I be able to leave it soon
But the human mind, the only humane quality left in me worked in a mysterious way
I grew comfortable in my misery
No longer my hands hurt, my mind starts to
Throwing me away from my moon
So the hands have to hurt all the time so the mind can never be wild enough
This is my life now
A survival show
Bravery I did show
Courage had to go
It's so empty and hollow inside But ironically so much more than that going on
Why do I feel everything even when my heart is of stone
It creeps in through walls
I see it but can't do something about it too lazy to walk
"What's the worst thing that could happen "
Happens every day and all day
It's just that the sun could never be pretty enough so as for the moon
