Help on hiding scars w/ dress code
So I have a lot of scars/cuts on my arm, and today my school implemented a dress code which will make me unable to hide my scars. Does anyone have advice? I really need to hide them because the one person at school who saw completely freaked out. (P.S. I am 3 days clean but still struggling, and if there are more I need more urgently to cover up, I am working very hard on not cutting myself but I can't 100% guarantee I won't again because of my mental state).

would it be possible to speak to your counselor or an administrator? you don't have to mention why specifically, but you could try saying something like "im not comfortable showing my arms" or if it's cold that could be an excuse. otherwise bracelets might cover them or if you have old tights that match your skin tone you could wear them on your arms. makeup might help, but obviously not with fresher ones.
