Self harm
@generousEyes9755
I am so sorry you are hurting yourself. Can you think of a healthy way to cope? like writing, coloring, reaching out to a chat line
@generousEyes9755 I hear you buddy, i understand. The rush of relief is almost always followed by a immense amount of guilt .And it sucks. Self-harm serves a purpose for those who do it, and the desire to stop may not be as strong as the desire to keep self-harming., That's why it difficult to stop. But though it's unhealthy , we need to understand that it's our coping methods just like some people use meditation as their coping strategy . I am aware it an unhealthy method. But people that inflict self harm aren’t evil or pathetic, they’ve just found a solution to stress that takes over before they realise it’s got them by the balls. The first few times we harm ourselves are indeed because of our own decision, it okay to feel guilty for that . That wasn't the brightest idea to go by. But after that, it's no longer completely in our control. So we can't blame ourselves for what happens after that. It's certainly unfortunate and harmful but it's not our guilt to shoulder . We can eventually make things better. Don't worry , the process takes time, but we certainly can get it to a better stage
