i've been really down for the past couple of weeks and i'm struggling with keeping myself motivated. I don't have any friends to talk to about this and it makes me feel so lonely and after 6 years w/o self harming i picked up a blade again and i feel really ashamed about it because i know it's bad and i don't want to anymore but nothing else is helping me and i'm scared that no one actually cares about me. i'm just sad and tired of feeling sad all the time

Heya!

It sounds like you are going through a really difficult time - feeling sad and tiered so often - and it can definitley feel very lonely.

I am so proud of you for sharing here with us today as it can be very daugnting and you have done extremely well. I hope you can also be proud of yourself for this step!

It can be difficult not feeling you can talk to anyone about self harm thoughts and intentions let alone actions! I hope you can find some help here within our forum and listeners that can help support you on your journey.

I would also like to commend you on being 6years clean that is an amazing achievement. I can understand you are feeling ashamedof going back and picking up a tool - I can understand that it can be difficult when you can't find anything else to help and you feel it is your only option. What helped you 6 years ago? Is that something you could try again?

I want you to remember that no journey is without its hurdles. You dont have to go through this alone! You are never alone!

Stay Strong and Keep Fighting!
