Trigger Warning. I feel like I can't stop. Am I addicted?
I was clean from self harm for several months. But I relapsed a few days ago. I didn't tell anyone that I relapsed. Its really really hard for me to stop. I have urges and thoughts about cutting every day. I think I'm addicted to cutting or something is wrong with me? Because I like seeing blood and I like being in pain. I have tried a few distractions in the past but it only works for a little while. Nothing feels the same as cutting myself does. I've been searching online for alternatives that actually hurt. I can't find any. I feel like I need a replacement for cutting. I feel like I need to be punished. I am depressed and I hate myself. Do you have any advice or tips?

Hey! Writer, thank you for sharing this, i can understand how hard it is to deal with self-harm. Resisting the urges to self harm is always a difficult thing to do and it must be hard for you too. just listen, that you are not alone in this and it's okay to feel this way.
The most effective way to deal with SH is having someone who is non-judgmental, caring and a good listener. you can also reach out to any listener here, who is able to support you in what you've to support you.
I'm so proud of you for trying, because trying really matters. Here are some alternatives http://bit.ly/2BYEA08 I think they can of some help for you. I wish you all the best, please take care 💜
