Scars of a warrior.

Love yourself is probably one of the hardest things we can do.

How many times have you told yourself you Love you but then you wish you were someone else or you cry every time you see you in the mirror.

Now I am asking you, what it is to love yourself?

Love yourself is not only love your body but love the way you are. Love yourself is not feeling ashamed of who you are, is being proud of who you are, is put yourself before other people.

The only thing that really matter is you.

It is not wrong to choose you before anyone else, love yourself is not selfish.

As I said before, loving yourself is not only about love your body, but it is an important part of self love.

You dont start exercising because you dont like your body, you start because you love your body enough to take care of it.

But I know love your body is not an easy thing, my face is not pretty enough, I am not thin enough, my hip is too big, my hip is so small, I am way too thin , my skin is so unclear.

Nobody is going to like me this way

You dont need nobody to love you if you love yourself.

Dont wait to have the perfect body because actually, the perfect body is yours.

But what happen when my body is full of self harm scars? It is ok to love it? Am I wrong if I see beauty in my scars?

IT IS TOTALLY OK TO LOVE YOUR BODY NOT MATTER WHAT!

Most of the time you dont even remember your self harm scars are there, no one notice and it is totally fine, but wait, you have to use short pants for a class in your school or you have to take off your sweater because it is too hot outside or surprise! Your family is going to the beach for the weekend, lots of people are going to be there!

And you get nervous because only you know what you hide.

This is an advice I am going to give you, I know it is not easy to take but if it was easy everybody would do it, and youre not like everyone.

DO NOT FEEL ASHAMED OF YOUR SCARS!

I know it is a little cumbersome when someone see your scars, but they are part of your body, they will stay there for a long, long time, may be forever. Learn to love them. It is ok.

These are not only scars, these are prove of how strong you are!! These are not a prove of weakness! It means you fell so down and you were brave enough to stand up again.

It means you are a warrior, the scars are not lost battles, they are steps you had to take to be the person you are today.

I know there are people who will be disagree with what I am saying, mostly people who have never being there, but I am just saying what I feel.

It is fine to love your self harm scars because they are part of you. It is not easy when people you love find it out, may be they will understand not everyone is going through a good moment, that some people are dealing with really hard times and may be they learn to be kind with everyone, no matter what.

You should feel proud of yourself for be the person you are today!

I am proud of you because I know it is not easy to wake up every morning and try, but you are here today and it means you are stronger than you think!

Love yourself is not an easy homework, that is way it takes a lot of time and patience.

Learn to accept yourself the way you are, there is only you in this world and we need you!
