Hi, my name is Marley, and I’m new here. I’m struggling, and relapsed an hour ago. I have Cerebral Palsy; and I feel like I have no purpose in life. Although, it’s mild. I still need help walking, and with some other tasks- like washing my hair. I just feel stuck in my body. I just want to be involved in the community somehow- but it’s very difficult.
Any advice, or suggestions are greatly appreciated/ needed. ❤️

Hello Marley! Welcome to cups it’s so wonderful to have you here with us! I hear you, it sounds like you’re struggling and it’s really not good to hear that you relapsed a few days ago ): Cerebral Palsy, is so extremely difficult to deal with. It’s understandable why you would feel like you have no purpose in life. No matter how mild it is, it still affects you on a day to day basis; by limiting your independence. It’s so valid that you want to help out in the community but this is really making it difficult for you. Your post really stood out to me, I can’t imagine the patience and strength it takes to deal with not only CP but also self harm and negative thoughts. It is so admirable that throughout everything you’re going through you still want to give back to the community. You’re the true definition of an angel here. I’m so sorry for all that you have to go through. I would suggest perhaps explaining your situation some and seeing if there are any simple easier ways you could help out. Even if it’s small, every act makes a difference. As for everything else, stay strong. You’re dealing with all this with so much grace it’s beautiful. Thank you so so much for sharing your story and struggles here. *hugs if comfortable* I’m so confident that you’ll make a wonderful impact no matter what you choose to do!! Stay wonderful! You got this!
