Hey! Thank you I agree those are amazing things about 7 cups. It's so great we can offer support to so many people across our globe and adapt to each person in the way we give this!! Music is awesome especially some of the catchy charts, I've always got music playing when I'm on here!! I sometimes get so engrossed in what I'm doing I don't even realise that it's on! If I need to concentrate then I put on some chill relax music that I'll end up completely droning out and not singing along to haha! That is a nice title, I'd say I'd take a look myself however google shares so many search results for the power of positive thinking! Nice resource thank you for sharing I will add this to my list of resources I am currently creating!! That's such a lovely animal to want to own! I think I'd love a horse too because I currently do horseback riding but it would be so lovely to have a horse of my own at some point! Yes agreed Australia is beautiful!! Icecream brussle sprouts and pizza sounds so cool. Interesting question I'm not too sure haha! Maybe a skill on freezing time so I can do what I like and can make time last lol but I don't think this is possible so I guess I will go with how to manage my time better as a skill to learn

I'd love to learn how to knit
- My favorite thing about 7Cups is finding that golden listener. They're all pretty great, but finding those special few who check in and have great conversation aside from just the average "how can I help you?" is a great feeling for me.
- I'm honestly slacking in the self care department. I'm trying really hard to get better, though. The one thing that helps me temporarily without fail is art.
- I have waaayy too many favorite books to even choose from. But my favorite movie is either Gataga or any of the Studio Ghibli films.
- One thing that I've done for the past 2 years (aka my darkest days of my life) is have a burn journal. It's basically just a notebook full of raw emotion, things I regret saying, things I should've said, all my darkest thoughts, and painful memories. When it's full, burn it, rip it, or just toss it out. Letting go of all of that negativity is a pretty powerful feeling. I've filled at least 5 last year. I highly recommend it.
- I would probably just have more dogs and maybe a nice cat. Being surrounded by my 2 dogs makes me have a reason to get up the next morning.
- I want to tour all of Europe and Japan. I don't really have any other motivation than I'd really love to see the world and these 2 places are at the top of my list.
- Ice cream, of course! There's so many flavors and varieties of how it's made. Personally, I've tried so many kinds of weird and just odd flavors. There's only so many ways you can like cookies, but ice cream never gets old.
- Surprisingly, I do like brussel sprouts better. Cabbage is just bland to me.
- This is a tough one, but I'd choose burger. I think pizza is just too common- it's everywhere. Not that I'm complaining, though. I just enjoy a good burger a little better.

I agree finding a special listener is so nice and a great feeling! It's great when you connect well with someone, its a good feeling! Well Dr.Bear (not an actual doctor) orders you some good self care!! Art sounds great I love art its so nice and it's great to be creative. Sounds some good movies there to watch! That's a great coping technique thank you for sharing, I am so glad you have shared this with us and have found something that works for you that's so so amazing!! Yes agreed dog's and cat's are great!! When the cat isn't bullying the dog ... which is the situation in my house Those are some cool places! I love that reason to love icecream! I'm sure the cookie department could catch up with icecream and make some interesting flavours too - don't underestimate them Brussle sprouts are great nom nom! Sounds a good choice I think I'd struggle with this one haha * gives a burger to you*

I love being able to connect with others around the world and be there to offer them support and a listening ear.
What is your favourite thing to do for self-care?
I really enjoy doing something creative, like colouring or playing my guitar - anything creative, and I love it!
What is your favourite book/ movie?
I have too many favourite books and movies to list! The list would be too long!
What coping mechanisms would you suggest to this community?
Some coping mechansims I would suggest is: listening to a playlist, wash the part of your body that you have the urge to self-harm, chnage your surroundings, clean your room, shout, scream, cry, put a voice to those feelings! Some others include: hugging someone you love, wait 20 minutes (within this time, the urge should be less strong!) and write down your feelings!
If you could own any animal what would it be and why?
An African Wild Dog (a painted wolf, Lycaon pictus)
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I would love to go to New York City because I've always lived in the counrty, and living in a bustling city, might just match my energy!

Agreed, that is a wonderful thing about 7 cups. Oo nice you play guitar! I do too but not so much these days 
However I still know how to play!! I love those suggestions of coping mechanisms thank you for sharing tham! Oo an so specific I like it! One day you will have to share your painting with me I love art! Yes New York is a place I'm buzzing to go too! It looks so cool there. Yay nom nom ice cream! A telescope my dh gave me for Christmas when we were married for about 5 yrs backstory is that when we were dating for almost 2 yrs if told him how much I'd wanted one as a kid and my dad never got me one we'll 7 yrs had passed since I told him that and when he gifted it to me I couldn't believe he still remembered. I still have it and use it every chance I get

sorry my phone glitched as far as name yes it has a special meaning. When my mom was going into labor with me I was apparently breached and my dad being devout to the Virgin of Guadalupe prayed and prayed that I would be born alright and if I was he'd honor her by naming me after her. Well when he ran back to check on my mom bc the doctors had told him to leave the room bc I guess they were expecting the worst one of the nurses said it was like I'd been adjusted from the inside and I was in position to come out. So yep that's the backstory to my name.

I love the connections we all make, whether it be listener-listener, listener-member or member-member. I love how we all can find things in common and help support each other, while letting everyone learn along the way too. I love the support we all give each other.
What is your favourite thing to do for self-care?
Hmm, I do love looking at stationery online and possibly spoiling myself with a cheap purchase or two... bullet journalling and being creative are things I do for self-care too that I really love.
What is your favourite book/ movie?
Ooft, this is hard. I think Just Listen by Sarah Dessen is my favourite book. I dont watch many movies, so uh... My Sisters Keeper?
What coping mechanisms would you suggest to this community?
Id suggest listening to neutral or upbeat music, taking a warm bath, dancing, punching a pillow if needed, colour angrily, hugging a stuffed teddy etc. It really depends on the reason for your urges.
If you could own any animal what would it be and why?
Probably more dogs! Id love one small indoor dog and a big indoor/outdoor dog. Ahh... yes please!
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
UK! Ive always wanted to go there, not too sure why! Id love to visit when its in their summer (aka my winter aka YES heat!) and not raining. London would be a top spot to hit! Id also love to go visit France! Though i would need to improve my French for that!

Yes yes yes come along to the UK and meet our snow in march and our rain well thats another thing .... it's what shall we say? UNPREDICTABLE Yay for icecream. And um... maybe? 😂 I need 3 of them to come in the mail and when they arrive, I can definitely say Ive reached 50 washi tapes 😂 also I got 5 sticker sheets of the emojis... very random purchase. I hate unpredictable weather :( and by you running, I feel like you hate Brussel sprouts and they taste gross... 😂 *chases after you*

I love that we have a community that can serve as an escape bubble from real life and where people would be able to feel that they're belong and accepted.

What coping mechanisms would you suggest to this community?
I have a song playlist I listen to depending on the emotions I'm feeling - when I'm sad, elated, horrible, chill, etc. I also write down my intrusive thoughts into a paper which I'd crumple or rip after.
If you could own any animal what would it be and why?
I'd be a panda because I'm lazy and I love sleep.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Probably Europe countries, because it seems interesting to travel in there.

Walking and jogging are so great, its a great thing and space of time to think over things and reflect upon them! Interesting pet but a good idea haha very smart! Yay for icecream. I love that goal and the reason you are here. That is so lovely! Well Shanhank's Redemption sounds interesting any way - no matter how you spell it! I agree, taking a mindful walk in a park can be a brilliant copinc mechanism, it allows to give time in collecting thoughts together and can be quite refreshing. Wow sounds like you're an animal lover, maybe we should just get you a zoo instead I like that you would go to a beautiful place with nature and your reasoning behind it is lovely. Whoo for icecream cabbage and pizza! And naww the Titanic

I love it in general, it's so peaceful and calming. Naww! *hugs* sorry you're allergic to them thats not fun but I agree they are cute and cuddly however my cat is very needy and fussy over her food! As great as cats are sometimes they are annoying but so much love for animals! Oo yes Ireland is meant to be a cool place, I love irish accents. Whoo for cookies cabbage and burger!
