I'm new here!
Hi, I'm a 21 year old female from California. On July 6th I will be one year clean. After a cancer scare last year and major surgery I felt lucky to be okay and alive. Not cutting had seemed so easy until everything got turned upside down in March. Starting to feel like stay clean is pointless. I don't know what to do anymore and was hoping to find a safe place with support, hopefully this place is it.

Hi! I'm so sorry to hear everything that you have recently been through. Maybe writing in a diary could help with your thoughts and feelings? I find writing down my thoughts makes the weight on my shoulders lighter. You've done so well to be clean and I know the urges can be really hard to deal with have you tried an elastic band around your wrist? Putting some red food dye and snap the elastic band on top of it could give it the visual effect and it can be an effective way to stay clean. I am here for you aswell :)
