#OneWordMotivation Forum Series

Hello, everyone! So, I've had this idea for over a year, but never implemented it into the forums. Back when we had the feed, I curated this idea and people seemed to like it. So, a year later, here it is in the forums! How this will work is each post will have a word of the week, how it relates to self-harm recovery and some quotes to go along with it. Feel free to answer what the word means to you!

COURAGE

Definition: According to Google, courage is "the ability to do something that frightens one; bravery." or "strength in the face of pain or grief."
How it relates to SHR: It takes courage to heal and to choose recovery. It takes courage to choose the path that is hard but ultimately good for us. It takes courage to reach out for help. It takes courage to want to stop our self-destruction, and it takes courage to take the first steps to do so. We all have SO much courage within us. Never forget how courageous you are.
