#OneWordMotivation- Healing

Hi, everyone! I'm finally back on the site as CML and also back with this series. I've missed you all so much! If you don't remember how this works- and I don't blame you for it- each week, there will be a new word, how it relates to self-harm recovery and a quote or two to go along with it. Feel free to leave your thoughts about it, your own relation to the word and/or quotes!

Definition: According to Google, healing is "the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again".
How it relates to SHR: Healing can be both physical and mental. Your body is so strong- it will try to heal as many wounds as it possibly can to the best of its ability. Your mind is so strong. You can heal from your self-harm journey through time, practice and patience. Healing is a lifelong journey, but getting to the healing process is one anyone can do at any time.
