@lilkrazy1014 Hey there! Just a little post of encouragement for you it's a big thing to celebrate three weeks of fighting against the urge to cave in. I feel proud to read your celebratory post. Give yourself more credit where it's due for achieving such a positive change. You're winning the fight so far. Just take each day as it comes it may help reduce your concerns of relapsing if you don't think of the bigger picture and just try get through each 24 hours at a time. Future expectations to stay sober can be very daunting to imagine as it's more pressure mentally and can cause people to feel like they will fail before they even begin trying. Baby steps always safer to stay on track. Try not to be so hard on yourself if anything slips up it's a journey of ups and downs everyone has a imperfect path to walk through. We are only human as long as you get back up and try again you're strong than you think. Sending you prayers of strength. We all support you either way. If you wanna chat pop me a msg if you like to lend an ear happy to listen if that helps you in anyway to stay focused or even to keep your mind off of worried concerns. 😊👂🏽, Cat

@lilkrazy1014 I understand your feelings it's not a quick thing to do to feel better again. Time will hopefully ease it as it goes forth. It's totally ok to feel that way you're not alone with how you feel. Have you spoken to any other members in similar stage of recovery maybe relating to another whos active in the same feelings may comfort a part of you?

@lilkrazy1014 How are you finding the support so far? Is it benefiting your journey at all? I hope so. Well I can relate as I've done the step program previously but I'm unsure if it will help as effectively as someone just beginning the path like yourself. But I'm here anyways either way. As I mentioned before I do understand what your voicing about it. And I know how hard and exhausting it is to constantly have to fight it off in your head. It does get more manageable habit inside your head once you get used to talking your temptation thoughts away over time. But I had a bumpy ride as other do also so just hang on tight and buckle your seatbelt in for it. You're doing really well completing three weeks straight that's the hardest part is the first weeks I felt because the impulse of action is still fresh in your mind. You're strong you know I hope you believe it when I say that to you. 💪🏽👏🏼

Hi, there!! I notice that this post was made a while ago, but wanted to check how you were doing anyway. The early days, weeks, months can be so challenging! I’m facing the challenges myself.

Sending love and strength 🙏🏻
