Alcoholism, am I too deep? I'm afraid

I know I am an alcoholic, I have been for a couple years, wasn't a problem until 2018. I wanna quit now, I'm ready to seek the detox treatment. But I know the withdrawals are dangerous and can be potentially fatal, I am scared of detoxing by myself, but I cant afford a treatment program or rehab.
