Hi!
I'm glad that you're here. That's a tough question but I don't think I can answer that for you because only you're the one who knows what's right. I can yell at you to contact your therapist, but if that doesn't feel like what you need - that's okay.
I think it's important to know that people can and do relapse, even despite their best intentions. This can happen with any addiction, whether it's alcohol, drugs, smoking, shopping, sex, gaming.. There is always going to be the potential.
Right now, do you feel like you'll relapse if you don't intervene now?
The other thing that I was thinking is that it might help to make a relapse prevention plan. You might want to discuss this with your therapist (or any other support groups you have going on), but it can include everything from what you start to notice when you're relapsing, what friends/family might notice, how it affects you, who you trust, coping tools/techniques, etc.
We are only human. I made mistake, more than once, but I am still here. Struggling. Our friends or relatives they just don't understand how alcohol is bad for us. Everywhere we go people are swimming in it. Little by little we can see the difference between this two so opposite conditions: With alcohol and without alcohol. The quality of living is so different. I realised that stuff could completely destroy me so the only possible thing to do is to win this monster. You can do it. Imagine that every drop of alcohol is like a real ugly poison you can not take ever for any reason. This decision must be taken every day and many times per day. And you will be fine. You will have a nice life.
