How do I fix this??
So basically,
I can’t drink water by its self I never have been able to. I’ve gone days without water and only drink it when I’m forced.Wether is flavored water,soda,coffee,milk,etc. I’d drink it because I hate water so very much.
But the problem started occurring when one night I got really thirsty and decided to drink my mom’s beer.All the nights I didn’t have flavored drinks, I’d drink beer. Sometimes even I have flavored drinks I’d drink beer.
+My mom has lots of beer and alcohol and the fridge,so sometimes id just catch myself staring at the alcohol bottle in the fridge,got too scared and ended up not drinking it and just going to bed thirsty.
@Evangelist Alcohol can end up dehydrating you so it isn’t really good for quenching thirst. My knowledge of biology is very limited but as I understand it, our bodies are made up of something like 98% water. Each of our cells is like a water balloon. Besides water, the cell needs salt in order to move water and other things, like food and waste in and out of the cell.
Both tap and bottled
@Evangelist You might want to talk to a doctor or nutritionist. They may be able to help you choose the best alternatives to hydrate your body. For instance sparkling water may be an alternative but the carbonation can affect calcium for your bones and it can be sold with more impurities than plain bottled water. Flavored water containing sugar probably isn’t healthy in large quantities because of the sugar. Fruit juices may be more natural sugar, but also may be a problem in large quantities. Coffee, caffeinated drinks, sodas, etc. are probably on the bottom of the list for good hydration.
@Evangelist I found this article. It may explain why you don’t like water and some possible ways to make it easier to drink.

@Evangelist
I too do not like the taste of water. I read that article about why some people don't, and I'm definitely a super taster, and such, I don't like alcohol either. But you can survive on coffee, there's lots of water in coffee, or tea. Scientists have finally come around on the coffee thing, they used to say it didn't count, but they woke up and smelled the coffee brewing. I drink Gatorade. I buy the mix at Walmart and just refill bottles w it, so much cheaper than buying it by the bottle. Unless you're diabetic, I wouldn't worry too much about the sugar as long as you're getting a well-rounded diet otherwise. Real sugar is better for you than artificial sugar, which can affect blood sugars in bad ways and do other yucky things to your bod... I hope that gives you some alternatives to alcohol, which is dehydrating and can definitely lead to problems down the road...
