It started like this....

I couldn't sleep and so I started drinking...then I couldn't handle my past anymore, so I started drinking more and more and more. Then I decided to quit. I was doing really well and then last night. My parents were able to get around being blocked and made contact with me. I freaked out and poured a bottle of whiskey.

I block the people who trigger me and they get around it and I can't take it. I need better coping skills. Thanks for listening.

Yes this is one of the main keys, getting rid or way away from people tgat are toxic to us and drive us to such escapes...I wish one day you will be free of them and just be happy without alcohol...someday...

i dont know how much you drink, but be careful. booze will change the wa your brain work after a certain period of time.

it will make your brain think you are NEED to be nervous - due to its ability to slow down all funtions.... your brain adapts to that drunked state - and the world becomes very daunting with out it.

all you can really do is slow down - and know thatmost of the anxiety is all in your head.

you are not alone.

us alcoholics are naturallly anxious people.
