Trying to understand my alcohol abouse
Sense I've join the military, I never drank that much. Now I drink like 4X more than i used too. I feel like it's probably from being boredom, I come home after work and that's all I have to do is drink. I try to enjoy my time in a foreign country and I do. Yet I always have alcohol by my side. It probably alcoholism moved from boredom to a habit. The thing is I can go out for days with out it if I have to. Yes it sounds weird I say that. I'm just implying that I don't have withdrawals, when I don't drink.

Some people can have alcohol habits but not be addicted; it is still not good for us though and brings greater risk of serious illness later.
Could you find some other things to do to prevent boredom? What are your interests or long term goals? Some sort of hobby, or study or social connections.
