Im only 16 and i can't go a day without drinking or smoking, i don't like doing it but I can't stand being sober, I feel miserable and depressed if im sober, it's gotten to the point where im basically spending all my money on alcohol and cigs, I wanna change and be sober but I feel like i don't fit in when im sober and it sucks. I just wanna be happy without drinking.

@skocel

🥺

Alcohol has become a crutch for you, and it can make you doubt yourself and feel like you don't fit in.

But you can.

It's hard but you are young, you don't want this to become your life.

You can be happy and healthy without it.

It's important to take it one day at a time, drink less each day, until you get to a place where you are not drinking at all .

Create a space in your life that makes you happy without it.

It's not easy but it can be done.

Wishing you the best of luck .

It's never too late to change things around!

I’m in my early 20s and drink and chain smoke everyday if I can even starting at noon. I know what you’re going through

@skocelIt sounds like you’re feeling trapped by drinking and smoking, and that being sober feels really hard right now. Wanting to change shows a lot of courage, and you’re not alone in wanting to feel happy without substances. It’s okay to take small steps, reach out for support, and remind yourself that your worth isn’t tied to what you use to cope.
