Shame

During addiction I neglected my teeth and I have a couple infected molars I got to remove I booked an appointment for tomorrow but I feel a lot of shame and embarrassment for the state of my teeth I allowed to happen I have been crying a lot grateful to have to took a step but very emotional I’m 320 days sober .

This is very common to do during state of addiction. I was upset how much money it cost me to fix my damage but it's not a biggie. Being sober is a huge accomplishment vs teeth. Plenty of people don't have an excuse for their bad hygiene. Give yrself grace. Congratulations on being sober 🥳🥳
