I just need some advice. And how do you stand by and watch a loved one self-destruct? How do I stop enabling him without kicking him out of the house?

@Chardonny123 awww honey I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. I don't think when you have theese addictions you actually understand the impact you have on the people who care about you the most 😥 it must be very hard for you to see this happening. Some believe tough love is the only way, others believe by showing them you love them hopefully they will get help and stop. I don't know which is the best method sorry. But my heart goes out to you ❤ gives you a giant tiny hug ❤ remember we are all here to support you in any way we can

@Chardonny123 As a heroin addict in recovery myself, I wanna tell you that it is important for him to realize himself that he needs to get out of this and he is ruining his life. Battling addiction is hard but not impossible. You can try to talk to him (if you haven't already). Also if you know the reason he started using that could be beneficial as well (for instance as a way to and numb his emotional pain).

It's now 2026.
I am still here. Still stuck in this loop of day one's and hoping for change.

I know, there is really nothing I can do. I have no idea how to help. I am too weak to say no when he asks for money. And I think then that I am part of the problem.
