Hi i have been addicted to cocaine for around the last 4 to 5 years and I am finding it so hard to stop I feel my mind wont let me stop it always seems to talk myself into doing it I feel I have no control over it and have 0 will power I have things in my life that should motivate me to stop but they dont and I feel so selfish horrible and worthless I feel like this is going to be me forever now and I cant bare the thought. I tell myself no I wont do it after I do then the comedown wears off and my mind is back on it I feel cocaine is constantly on my mind I have no interests anymore other than cocaine everything that used to interest me doesn't anymore so its hard for me to do anything to keep my mind off of it when all I seem to want to do and end up doing is cocaine i have been a sufferer of adhd so my mind finds it hard to focus and concentrate as it is this is the hardest thing in my life. I am loosing my family due to this and has broke up my relationship with my gf I just dont know what to do anymore I feel so alone in this as before I broke down to my mum and told her and I felt better for it and stayed off it for 2 weeks which was a big thing to me as Its the longest ive stayed off it in 4 to 5 years for then my mum to call me an embarrassment in an argument saying I'm embarrassing for being proud of that and walking around like it's a badge of honor.. well to me it was a badge of honor I was proud and in a way when she said that it made me think what is the point I just dont know what to do anymore!

Rehab and God. If you can't get into rehab then have Jesus show you the way. That's how I quit cocaine and other drugs.I have 2 years of sobriety now.

I did my recovery in prison. There was no true help there so I had to go through the rough way. Its going to be a rocky road but as Jesus what to do and talk to Him constantly, especially when you want to use. Find as many support groups as you can. This is a 24/7 thing.

At my worst...my insurance cut me off. I had no way to get into rehab. I ended up getting arrested for a warrant. I thought it was over..but it was just the beginning. Things may seem dark now but they could it could all start now if it hasnt already. I guess that saying "Its always darkest before the dawn" is true. Your best chance is God, Jesus and the support around you.
