Negativity at workplace
Many of my clients’ve shared their workplace stories with me with a heavy heart. They said :
👉🏿 There’s a lot of criticism, domination, neglect and control at my workplace - it’s so negative.
If one isn’t happy at one’s workplace,
one usually starts finding a new job.
Mostly, I’ve seen people starting their new jobs with a lot of excitement.
However, they start feeling worse after the first few months & find themselves stuck again.
✔️ Why does it happen? What’s the way out?
I believe that our workplace is a MIRROR.
If your workplace is -ve or makes you uncomfortable, it can be a sign of :
🚩 Negativity inside you
🚩 Your unhealed relationship with yourself
🚩 Your childhood wounds with parents
🚩 Past hurt from a previous job / employer
Solution : Rewire your Negative Work Beliefs.
How’s your workplace? Do you enjoy working there?
@yashggorani I admire how you wrote that our workplace is a mirror as well as those signs. Quite a thought-provoking post and prompt!
Thank you for sharing this. 💓

Working for over a dozen employers during 30 years, I agree there is not such a thing like a perfect workplace. But some of them had been really close to that! 😊
I agree that too many people stubbornly look for negativities or conflict in their workplaces - and they find it.
I believe there are too many people who do not even try to like their jobs, however humble those job would be - they can be worth it, even in self-caring terms.
It was a freeing reflection for me that not only my employer, bosses or co-workers, but also _I_AM_ creating my work environment, by many small things - being reliable and hardworking, but at the same time smiling and giving a hand to someone who needs a support, doing my best to show respect and be flexible, but be respected and assertive at the same time...
If only more of my relationships went as smoothly as most of my jobs 😆
Actually, I know how I got this...
One of the best-known Polish psychologists, working on self-esteem subjects, has written a funny thing about one of her clients: The guy went to the military service and... he said he liked it very much, because his superiors in the army seemed to be more kind-hearted and much less demanding than his parents has been.
I think that me and this guy have something in common 😊
