Time to Reflect

Had this thought today and felt like putting it out there.
After all this time on 7cups, I've noticed something. People dealing with real, heavy emotions, the kind that feel too big to handle, aren't really looking for solutions. They're trying to see their own situation more clearly.
Whether they realize it or not, what they want is a mirror. Something that reflects back what they're going through, in a way that actually makes sense to them, or in a more structured way.
And when they finally see their situation clearly? It lifts a weight off. That little bit of lightness lets them look at things from a different angle.
We've all told someone (or ourselves) to "just look at it from another perspective" to feel better. But when you're in the middle of something tough, switching perspectives is really, really hard.
I know this sounds like a super simple approach and honestly, it is. But there's one thing that makes it actually work: Consistency.
When someone sticks with honest, regular reflection, even just a little at a time, I've seen real change happen. And watching that growth? It's amazingly satisfying. 😊
