So I just watched a video where all the women had armpit hair. How they managed to make it look decent is beyond me because I hate how my body hair looks. I couldn’t shave my left armpit for a while due to a cyst and it looked like a prickly scrotum. What, did the actresses put hair gel under there? I feel like I’d look disgusting even if I were a man.
@raccooncutie30 Even in the rare representations of women with armpit hair, the images are often edited. But in reality, body hair isn’t meant to be beautiful—it exists to protect our bodies. You’re not disgusting at all, you’ve just been taught to see body hair as something "wrong" when it’s completely natural. It makes sense that you feel this way, we’ve been conditioned to see women's body hair as something unacceptable.

@raccooncutie30 I wouldn't say it's wrong, you're allowed not to like it. But it's important to accept yourself as you are.
Someone actually called me a pedophile for not liking body hair since apparently not being hairy makes someone a child. I will never understand some people’s logic.
I decided to grow it out because I don’t want any more nasty infections.
