Homeless women struggling
Honestly living is difficult these days. I never get the chance to recover from everything before having to endure it again. I hate having to lug heavy stuff around especially in the snow ice and cold but I keep doing it. My back, neck, and shoulders never get to heal. I'm practically starving every day because I'm low on food. We haven't had much money in the first place and he's been spending it on food for us but people keep stealing and begging for it.I'm tired every day. I don't get enough sleep. I wake up sick to my stomach and with my back sore because I sleep on a pile of blankets on the floor and my head isn't elevated. My hormones are annoying. I don't get periods anymore. I get all the PM's symptoms and every now and again I start spotting. This week is the first in probably months that I've noticed any bleeding. I hate it.I still don't have insurance and I'm out of medications. All I have is 2 pills in my bottle of melatonin.I'm really beginning to wish more things were available for free, for people like me and my boyfriend who don't have money or jobs to get by.And don't forget the awful smell of cigarettes. It makes me sick.My allergies are getting worse. I haven't had allergy medicine for ages. I ran out of my depression meds first then my allergy medicine. I don't have a way to replace them.I haven't had glasses since BEFORE I met my boyfriendI hate having a uterus 🤦♀️🙄😒 I don't have periods anymore. In fact my bleeding is so irregular that it could be weeks to months before I spot again. I just get the pms. Like cramps bloating and moods. I'm bleeding now but it's only been a couple days. I have been bleeding heavy enough to keep frequently changing pads and normally i don't have to. I even have a tampon in. I'm having a crisis right now. I was hardly bleeding at all and it's gotten really heavy . I'm low on feminine hygiene products and I'm broke. I don't know what to do. We just got food from one of the food pantries in AuburnWe're going to a closer one tomorrowWe're planning on going to a friends place in a while and im afraid people will steal our food. They always steal our food. We don't have much to spare. People are always asking for some and Kim keeps telling us that any food that comes in is for everyone to share. But they kill everything we have until we have nothing. Someone already spent a lot of money off my boyfriends benefit card. I say we have every reason to be greedy with our food.Kim will take any food she sees of ours. She took the ginger ale he got for just me because I have an upset stomach and he has no cash for medicine. And she took my boyfriends cookies.I've been lying to everyone telling them I'm ok when actually this is my reality.Just in case you didn't awe my post-
Hi everyone. Regardless if you know my situation or not I will share my story. Most people will look down their noses at you and won't even give your situation a second thought. Being homeless is a whole new experience for someone who always saw it around me but never experienced it. But now that I know first hand what freezing in the cold bundling up in blankets and layers of clothes, barely having enough food and having to hide it so it doesn't get stolen, fighting to stay safe and alive, not knowing day to day if I'll have a roof over my head, struggling to get even a dime, not having enough toilet paper, worrying about my stuff getting stolen and having bitterness towards the world for lack of humanity I have learned a lot. And when and if I get back on my feet I will have quite the survivors testimony to share. For those who shame people who are homeless- don't judge someone for an experience you never had. Maybe someday you'll be in this situation too. Instead of hating, why not get to know why they are homeless and offer help? We don't need pity and harassment, we need your support. And to those who are helping, it is appreciated. Thank you to the food pantries, and shelters, and other places offering services. Keep it up.I really don't mean to be rude. I'm just extra defensive because my boyfriend and kim and Trent have expressed how much of a burden I am to them for involving them in my problems and it made me feel like a failure and I'd be better off not existing.I'm sorry I keep bothering youI'm going through a tough time and thought you'd like to be updated on my situationBut if you'd prefer I won't keep pestering youI'm already everyone's burden
