My first post on this forum, I want to remind you that you are part of a community of people who have felt the same way. Whether it is that people listen and willingly and knowingly engage in inappropriate gossip or that they feel empowered by putting other people down, it isnt your fault or responsibility. You as a person are completely outside of all that unnecessity. You are powerful and capable. Those people belong in a place of unbelonging themselves, showing in their failure to engage in respectful humanity. They distaste themselves not you.
