Hi, I feel like I may have pre menstrual dysmorphic disorder. It affects my life severely. I feel like I cant talk to anyone in my social circle about it. I would like to hear others' experiences with this issue and how it affects them personally and their relationship with others

@limePenguin4495 Hi Penguin! I hope you are doing well. I am sorry to hear that you are struggling with PMDD. May I ask why you don't feel that you can share with any of your friends? I know it can be difficult, but friends are there to support you and they shouldn't judge you if you are struggling! While I have not gone through PMDD, I have found some resources that may be helpful to you! Mind and Johns Hopkins Medicine share some more information on PMDD. It may be helpful if you want to reach out to a healthcare provider regarding how you are feeling because you don't have to go through this alone! We are here for you! I am thinking of you!

Hey LimePenguin4495. I have pmdd and have suffered for over 4 years. It sucks! It's amazing how many people actually suffer once you start talking. I hear you about it impacting your life, it does feel like it takes over. Have you been to your GP? There's loads of different treatments, it can be hard work getting an official diagnosis. But chart your symptoms for two months and go to the dr with your diary and demand some help. Know that you're not alone x
