Welcome to 7 Cups online counseling! I would like to congratulate you for taking this decision to reach out and ask for assistance and support at this time in your life.  Let me introduce myself. After many years of working, first as a Registered Nurse and for the last 30 years as a Mental Health Counselor, I have come to view individuals holistically. I have a strong belief in the capabilities each individual has to find solutions and ways to cope with whatever life issues they may bring to therapy.  As a therapist, I see my role as giving you, as a client, opportunities to explore earlier life experiences and decisions (conscious and unconscious) that may be negatively affecting your present life circumstances. I foster a respectful, encouraging, safe and non-judgmental atmosphere where you can begin to learn and practice new skills and healthier ways of being, that eventually, you can incorporate into your daily life and carry them with you long after our work together. Frequently asked questions

Use the search box at the top of this page to narrow down to your city or zip code, then choose the kind of support you need - therapists, treatment centers, housing assistance, food pantries or faith-based services. Every listing links through to contact details and directions.

It varies by listing. Food pantries, many housing programs and faith-based services are typically free, while therapists and treatment centers usually charge or bill insurance. Check the individual listing and contact the provider directly to confirm.

No. The providers and organizations listed here are independent of 7 Cups - we do not employ them and cannot vouch for them. What 7 Cups does offer directly is free emotional support from trained volunteer listeners, and online therapy with licensed professionals.

If you are in immediate danger, call 988 in the US or go to your nearest emergency room. For someone to talk to straight away, you can chat with a trained volunteer listener at any hour, free.
