MA in Psychology (Counselling)

Bangalore

After a stint at corporate finance, my lived experiences and interest in people and relationships brought me into the field of mental health care. As a therapist, my practice is anchored by a relational, psychodynamic framework and I believe in gently co-creating a reflective space and shared language with the people I work with. My view of therapy is insight oriented, reflective, collaborative and long-term. I rely on embodied experiences alongside working with the mind, and consider the social and political an inherent part of depth-work. I stay committed to learn and unlearn in both my personal and professional life and I consider it a privilege to be a part of another human being's story.   I believe therapy can be an effective medium for self exploration and mental well-being, provided we can nurture a meaningful therapeutic relationship giving the process the time and commitment it requires. I'm glad to see that you've chosen 7cups to share something very personal to you. This is a brave first step you have taken in committing to explore inward. I would be honored to be a part of your journey. My pronouns are she/her and I'm of Indian ethnical origin. Among other things, I'm an ardent lover of music and creative writing has always been a form of authentic self expression for me.

Use the search box at the top of this page to narrow down to your city or zip code, then choose the kind of support you need - therapists, treatment centers, housing assistance, food pantries or faith-based services. Every listing links through to contact details and directions.

It varies by listing. Food pantries, many housing programs and faith-based services are typically free, while therapists and treatment centers usually charge or bill insurance. Check the individual listing and contact the provider directly to confirm.

No. The providers and organizations listed here are independent of 7 Cups - we do not employ them and cannot vouch for them. What 7 Cups does offer directly is free emotional support from trained volunteer listeners, and online therapy with licensed professionals.

If you are in immediate danger, call 988 in the US or go to your nearest emergency room. For someone to talk to straight away, you can chat with a trained volunteer listener at any hour, free.
