The Elders Program at Eielson Air Force Base is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community by providing essential services and support tailored to their needs. Our comprehensive offerings include caregiver training, case management, and access to durable medical equipment, ensuring that older adults receive the care they deserve. Services such as consumer-directed personal care assistant options, respite care, and fall prevention education empower seniors to live healthy, independent lives. We also assist with Medicare and Medicaid, offer a monthly Elder Food Box, facilitate engaging activities like Elder Teas and potlucks, and provide transportation within the Anchorage area. With a focus on advocacy and resource assistance, our program strives to foster a supportive environment where elders can thrive and connect with one another.
