Located in Fordyce, AR, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion services. Our mission focuses on screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them to tailored weight management options that suit their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! - a convenient in-home messaging system with clinician support. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, as well as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges related to weight. Each facility offers unique services, so we encourage Veterans interested in weight loss to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards healthier living.
