Food Distribution

Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma

In Fort Smith, AR, the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), a collaboration between USDA and The Choctaw Nation, is dedicated to delivering essential food assistance to income-eligible households. We prioritize the health and nutrition of our community by providing a selection of wholesome foods to families living within the boundaries of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, as well as to residents in bordering counties of Arkansas and Texas. Our mission is to ensure that no one faces food insecurity alone, while addressing basic nutritional needs through our emergency food services. Please keep in mind that food distribution sites are not operational during the last two business days of each month.
